How do you Abide in HIS love?
SHERRY WHEELER, ANGEL CROSSING WARD
Through numerous life experiences, I have come to understand that the peace I seek above all else is the peace I feel when I strive to be close to my Heavenly Father and maintain open communication with Him and my Savior. I recognize my human imperfections and acknowledge that my path is unique compared to others. I frequently remind myself that each person is on their own journey back to God, with individual roads to walk. I am learning to avoid comparing my life journey to that of others, understanding that we are each unique and experience God's love differently.
I am aware that God loves us where we are, including in moments of struggle, doubt, weakness, and imperfection. He also rejoices when we are in positions that bring us closer to Him, enabling us to receive all the blessings He has promised.
My choices may lead me down unexpected paths. In recent years, I have struggled with attending church, which made me feel unworthy of His love. However, when I looked beyond my own thoughts, I continued to feel His spirit, comfort, strength, and love for me. I am learning that our Eternal Father perceives us differently than we see ourselves. His love is incomprehensible, and I stand in awe of His mercy. I hold firmly to the promises He has made and the covenants I have made with Him.
I have faith that He will fulfill all that He has promised, and I continually pray for the return of our Savior. In His presence, I believe I will find the healing that this life does not offer
