Do NOT hesitate to open the Book of Mormon and discover the treasures it holds specifically for YOU.

Promises from the Lord if we study the scriptures:

• There will come a strengthened resolution to walk in obedience to his commandments
• There will come a stronger testimony of the living reality of the Son of God
• You will be prepared for your responsibilities in this life and in the eternities
• There will be an increased spirituality in your home
• Scripture study will give both parents and children the power to resist temptation
• We will have the Holy Ghost as our constant companion
• The spirit of reverence will increase
• Mutual respect and consideration for each other will grow
• The spirit of contention will depart
• Parents will counsel their children in greater love and wisdom
• Children will be more responsive and submissive to the counsel of their parents
• Righteousness will increase
• Faith, hope, and charity—the pure love of Christ—will abound in our homes and lives, bringing in their wake peace, joy, and happiness
• We will qualify for and recognize personal revelation
• Our faith in God will be strengthened
• We will have the power to resist temptation and stay faithful
• We will better be able to learn truth and recognize and combat false ideas
• Our spiritual memories will be enlarged, from which we can draw strength
• The scriptures contain principles of truth to resolve EVERY problem in life
• We will be able to avoid adopting the evils of the world
• There will come a stronger testimony of the living reality of the Son of God
• You will be prepared for your responsibilities in this life and in the eternities
