The Daughters in My Kingdom book has truly strengthened my testimony. I have gained a new understanding of the power and strength that sisters in Zion can have on the world. We have such an influence by encouraging righteousness in the lives of our spouses, children, and others in our society. We learn so much from these women who have already taken the path of righteousness, from their testimonies and stories written in this amazing book. I am truly grateful for the encouraging words they have left for us to study and to help give us encouragement to face our trials that we have today in this world that is full of so much good and evil.
It gives me faith and strength that we can make a positive difference in the lives of all of God’s children. That we can bring faith, peace and love to all those around us just as the women in Christ’s time, faithful pioneer women, and currently the faithful women of our day and age.
There are so many faithful and amazing women in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel very privileged to be a member of such an amazing organization. This book has moved me to want to be more Christlike to all those around me and gives me the desire and courage to want to reach out to others and make a difference in their lives. I know when I do this it brings me closer to God and the Savior and strengthens my testimony of the gospel, which brings me so much peace. We need to stand up and defend the family and the sacred role of motherhood. I have no doubt that we can be a light to a world that is so full of darkness.
I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true, and I am so grateful that God inspired Joseph Smith to organize the Relief Society. I have truly been blessed many times in my life by sisters of the Relief Society. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
