I was so excited to get the Daughters in My Kingdom book. The sisters of the stake were so energetic when they told us about the book. As I started reading I had a hard time getting through the book. But there were parts here and there that really made me sit back and think. I can more appreciate my pioneer family for all that they went through so that I can live here in comfort.
I am thankful for the service that comes with the Relief Society. There are times that I have been served or have served and didn’t really think about it—it just happened or I just did it. I am thankful for the priesthood in our home. This year I have four priesthood holders in my home: High Priest, Priest, Teacher and Deacon.
I am thankful for the scriptures that I can read with my kids and find answers to questions or problems that we may have going on in our lives. I am thankful for the gospel.
